Did you know… Madrid cuisine is very diverse?

15The most typical dish of the capital is ‘cocido madrileño’ (Madrid stew).  However it is not the only one, there are others such as ‘callos a la madrileña’ (Madrid style tripe), garlic soup and ‘besugo a la madrileña’ (Madrid style sea bream).  As for ‘tapas’, in Madrid it is very typical to eat: calamari sandwiches, ‘bravas’ potatoes, ‘caracoles a la madrileña’ (Madrid style escargot) and also ‘huevos estrellados’ (broken eggs).
In the capital it is very easy to find bars/restaurants, but it is in the center where a high concentration of establishments can be found in which to enjoy the typical foods of Madrid.
