These teams are Real Madrid, Atlético de Madrid and Rayo Vallecano.  Real Madrid plays in the Santiago Bernabéu stadium, Atlético de Madrid in the Vicente Calderón and Rayo Vallecano in the Teresa Rivero.  Getafe also plays in the premier division, is another one of the big teams of the Comunidad de Madrid (Madrid region).

August 21, as a finale of the WYD, Atlético de Madrid Foundation and the WYD have organized a charity match between former Spanish and international players.
